A Case of extraadrenal pheochromocytoma in a 27 year old Korean veteran is reported. Headache, dizziness, blurred vision and abdominal pain incident to food intake, for the past 5 years, were his past history. Diagnoses entertained prior to present admission to this hospital were duodenal and gastric ulcers, anxiety neurosis and Meniere´s syndrome. A working diagnosis of pheochromocytoma was established by Histamine test, upper G.I. series, IVP and perirenal air insufflation. Hypertension precipitated by manual manipulation during the operation was well controlled by Regitine administration. Ten days after removal of the tumor mass, he was discharged, and is free of symptoms ever since. The diagnosis of pheochromocytoma is reviewed and
